Junior IT Specialist – 1st/2nd Level Support

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Specialist to join a long‑standing, family‑owned aluminium processing company that serves the automotive, aerospace and marine sectors. You will provide first‑ and second‑level support to internal users and help keep the company’s IT environment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd level IT support via phone, email and on‑site.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot central business applications.
• Create and manage software packages for distribution.
• Oversee software licences, support procurement and ensure compliance.
• Conduct technical onboarding for new employees and manage off‑boarding procedures.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of IT administration gained through study or practical experience.
• Strong awareness of IT security and data‑protection principles.
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly in German and solid English.
• Team‑oriented, self‑motivated and eager to continuously learn and improve processes.
