Junior Key Account Manager

About the role

The Junior Key Account Manager will support the Commercial Director in managing and growing key customer accounts for Del Monte's fresh fruit and prepared foods business in Germany. This role combines relationship building, order processing, claim handling and logistics coordination to drive profitable sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proactive communication with selected German customers to achieve agreed objectives.
• Accurately capture daily orders and enter them into the ERP system.
• Address and resolve customer claims and returns promptly and professionally.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with existing and new customers to ensure profitability.
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions and internal sales data.
• Coordinate with ports and logistics partners to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Assess customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Control weekly stock levels for relevant service providers in the supply chain.
• Plan and execute regular visits to existing and potential customers, documenting each visit in a shared file.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a fruit sales representative in a production or distribution company.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and quick to learn.

Required skills

• Proficient use of an ERP system.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
