Junior Mobile Developer (Android/iOS) – Frankfurt

About the role

Join a modern FinTech environment in Frankfurt as a Junior Mobile Developer, working on a banking app with agile processes and a dynamic team. You will gain hands‑on experience in native Android and iOS development, collaborating closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and design future‑proof API interfaces and contribute to the technical architecture of the mobile app.
• Optimize performance, UI reactivity and the native look‑and‑feel to deliver a first‑class user experience on Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers and backend developers to implement innovative features from concept to release.
• Continuously evaluate new mobile technologies and best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to keep the tech stack up to date.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing.

Required profile

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable field.
• 1–2 years of practical experience gained through student work, internships or similar projects.
• Familiarity with agile development and Scrum.
• Proficiency in German and good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Native Android development.

• API design and integration.
• CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Use of AI development tools (e.g., Claude CodeFluent).
