Junior Project Manager – Meetings & Events

About the role

Amex GBT is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support meetings and events in Frankfurt. You will act as the primary client liaison, overseeing programs from venue sourcing through final billing while ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end program delivery, building timelines and workflows for on‑time execution.
• Oversee the full program lifecycle in management systems, from venue sourcing to post‑event reconciliation.
• Source, negotiate and manage contracts with venues, travel providers and third‑party suppliers.
• Collaborate with IT, creative and internal teams to deliver cohesive program assets.
• Develop detailed itineraries and agendas covering all logistical requirements.
• Drive communication across stakeholders, lead status meetings and provide regular updates.
• Manage complex, large‑scale, international and executive‑level programs, including VIP logistics.
• Maintain strong client and supplier relationships, delivering high‑touch service.
• Own financial management – budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation and billing accuracy.
• Continuously improve processes and ensure compliance with company and client standards.

Required profile

• Passion for meetings management and client interaction.
• Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and native‑level German.
• Proactive, forward‑looking project planning approach.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not required.
