Junior Scrum Master (Remote)

About the role

Alpine Business Consulting is seeking a Junior Scrum Master to support its consulting teams working with a German‑based financial services client. This full‑time, permanent, fully remote position offers an entry‑level opportunity to learn Agile practices in a specialized finance‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand‑up meetings to keep the team aligned on tasks and blockers.
• Assist in organizing and scheduling sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure team members have access to required information.
• Track progress of system configuration and data‑cleanup tasks.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to identify and remove obstacles.
• Support handover by updating training materials and configuration guides.
• Monitor the project board for accurate status updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge.
• Basic understanding of Agile principles and Scrum ceremonies, acquired through coursework or recent certification.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting system requirements.
• Genuine interest in large‑scale financial systems and data reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while staying connected with the team.
