Junior Software Engineer – Simulation Systems

About the role

Join a global aerospace leader to develop high‑fidelity simulation systems for critical defence applications. As a Junior Software Engineer you will work on aircraft equipment models, create tools that drive simulators, and support the integration of software components into complex flight simulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop simulation models of aircraft equipment, primarily using C++.
• Design and implement tools to stimulate simulators and support simulation workflows.
• Create and execute unit tests for software modules.
• Build development‑process tools such as code generators.
• Integrate models into aircraft simulations using C++ and Ada.
• Perform integration testing and document software modules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in flight simulators, software development, and system integration.
• Excellent analytical, structured thinking and English communication skills.

Required skills

• C++ programming.
• Bash scripting.
• Python programming.
• Ada language familiarity.
