Junior Web Developer (Remote)

About the role

Alpine Business Consulting is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join a fully remote team supporting an international software partner. You will work under senior consultants to build and maintain web‑based interfaces that visualise financial data for enterprise reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain front‑end code for internal reporting dashboards using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Assist in configuring web interfaces that connect to larger enterprise performance‑management systems.
• Write and update technical documentation for client hand‑over and ongoing maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor layout bugs and ensure cross‑browser data display accuracy.
• Collaborate with senior developers to learn best practices for long‑term code maintenance.
• Prepare configuration guides and basic user manuals for client delivery.
• Participate in code reviews to improve technical skills.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, with an eye for responsive layout details.
• Familiarity with JavaScript fundamentals and a willingness to learn framework usage in a business context.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow configuration guides precisely.
• Excellent written communication for technical documentation.
• Self‑motivation to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected with the team.
