Key Account Manager – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

This position is for a commercially driven pharmaceutical professional based in Germany. You will lead strategic customer engagement within a specialized therapeutic area, expanding market access and strengthening relationships with healthcare stakeholders to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives across assigned key accounts and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with commercial goals.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals and decision‑makers.
• Analyze patient pathways to identify opportunities for better treatment access.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, and cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Leverage CRM platforms and data insights to optimise account planning.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical, pharmaceutical or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in sales or key account management.
• Strong understanding of the German healthcare system, reimbursement environment and stakeholder landscape.
• Proven ability to develop strategic account plans and meet ambitious sales targets.
• Fluency in Spanish and good command of English.
