Key Account Manager – Service Sales (Dresden)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Sales professional / Key Account Manager to join our Applied Global Services (AGS) division in Germany. This permanent, full‑time position focuses on managing key customer relationships and driving service solutions. The role is based on‑site in Dresden.

Key responsibilities

• Grow service revenue and bookings in the region and allocated major accounts.
• Identify customer needs and develop complex sales strategies to generate service solutions.
• Lead customer relations and negotiations from initial quotes to final contract signature.
• Communicate and present Applied Materials’ product roadmaps and capabilities to customers.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills, with 2–3 years of semiconductor sales experience or 5+ years outside the industry.
• Excellent communication skills for leading internal and customer working sessions.
• Creativity in generating solutions while adhering to standard selling concepts (Product Option Architecture).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time, primarily within Germany.
• High motivation and dedication to deliver results and achieve objectives.
• Technical background is a strong plus.
