Key Account Manager – Utility

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead our Utility business (PV + BESS) across the DACH region. You will work closely with project developers, EPCs, and utilities to drive sales, support tender processes, and negotiate contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key utility clients, including developers, EPCs, and utilities.
• Support RFQs, tender submissions, and preparation of commercial proposals.
• Lead or assist in contract negotiations covering delivery, performance, liquidated damages, SLAs, and related terms.
• Coordinate internally with technical, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Drive long sales cycles and close complex B2B deals.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of B2B sales or Key Account Management experience, preferably in the energy or utility sector.
• Strong understanding of energy systems such as PV, BESS, and grid infrastructure.
• Knowledge of contract structures, basic contract law, and German/EU energy regulations.
• Fluent German (native) and business‑level English (B2/C1).
