Lead Electrical Engineer – Data Centres

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join a major data‑centre project in Germany. You will take senior technical responsibility for the design, installation and commissioning of complex electrical systems, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all electrical engineering activities across the project.
• Provide technical leadership to project and construction teams.
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, calculations and documentation.
• Identify and resolve design gaps, technical issues and coordination challenges.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to align electrical requirements.
• Manage technical queries and support issue resolution.
• Support procurement, delivery and installation of electrical equipment and materials.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and final hand‑over of electrical systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience on large‑scale construction projects, preferably data centres.
• Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Proven ability to work with contractors, consultants, suppliers and client teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Effective communication and organisational abilities.
