Lead Operations Manager

About the role

ALPAMI is scaling its boutique hospitality portfolio across the DACH region and needs a hands‑on leader to drive operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the central point for all day‑to‑day operational matters, ensuring seamless guest experiences across more than 200 keys.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operations, continuously improving processes and standards across all properties.
• Serve as the single point of contact for operational queries from front‑line teams and external partners.
• Manage external service providers, safeguarding quality, reliability and commercial terms.
• Monitor KPIs such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest satisfaction and response SLAs, and act on insights.
• Travel regularly to properties to address quality, training and problem‑solving on site.
• Prioritize issues swiftly, making real‑time decisions to resolve problems before guests notice.
• Lead, coach and develop the operational team as the business scales.
• Champion guest happiness, ensuring every decision enhances the guest experience.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in hospitality operations.
• Bilingual in German and English (spoken and written).
• Hands‑on mentality with a bias toward immediate action.
• Strong prioritisation and judgement under pressure.
• Resilient and able to stay clear‑headed when multiple issues arise.
• Willingness to travel regularly to various locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in monitoring and analysing hospitality KPIs.
• Experience managing external service providers.
• Fluent communication in German and English.
