Lecturer Cyber Security Attack Scenarios and Incident Response

About the role

IU International University – MyStudium is seeking a freelance lecturer to deliver a practical course on cyber security attack scenarios and incident response. The role starts on 01.07.2026 and involves 18 teaching units at the Berlin campus, focusing on high‑impact, hands‑on learning for students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach core concepts with strong practical relevance, covering cybercrime investigation, digital forensics, attack vectors and cybersecurity threat analysis.
• Design and deliver lectures and tutorials using high‑quality teaching materials provided in the coursebook.
• Conduct on‑site practical sessions, foster interactive learning, and correct examinations.
• Support dual‑study students in linking theory with real‑world practice and contribute to their professional development.

Required profile

• Completed university degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in the subject area.
• Initial teaching experience (e.g., as a tutor, lecturer, or research assistant) is desirable.
• Strong interest in innovative, digital education and enjoyment of student interaction.
• English language proficiency at C1 level (CEFR).
