Legal Counsel – IP & Unfair Competition

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Legal Counsel to join our in‑house legal team in Munich. The role will work closely with senior leadership and business units, providing legal support on intellectual property, unfair competition, and a broad range of commercial matters with international exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on IP protection strategies and unfair competition issues across the organisation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align legal risk management with business objectives.
• Support cross‑functional teams on regulatory compliance and dispute prevention.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of German and EU IP law and competition regulations.

Required profile

• Fully qualified German lawyer with successful state examinations.
• 2–6 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in IP, competition, or commercial law.
• Pragmatic, commercially focused approach with strong analytical abilities.
• Fluent in German; English proficiency required.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Munich.
