About the role

The Library Technician provides essential support to library patrons and staff across the Phillips Community College campuses. This position combines customer service, material handling, and coordination of interlibrary resources to ensure smooth library operations.

Key responsibilities

Assist library patrons with copying, circulation, computer, and research requests (approximately 40% of duties).
Manage serials for the library, including tracking and processing new issues (about 15%).
Train work‑study students and other staff in library processes and procedures (about 15%).
Receive, process, shelve, and maintain library materials, ensuring accurate organization (about 25%).
Coordinate Interlibrary Loan services for the Helena, Stuttgart, and DeWitt campuses (about 5%).

Required profile

High school diploma required.
Associate degree preferred.
