Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage end‑to‑end logistics operations for heavy machinery and spare parts, ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery while complying with international trade regulations. This role supports sales, service, warehouse and finance teams across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international transportation (road, sea, air) and ensure real‑time tracking of shipments.
• Manage full‑cycle import and export processes, preparing and verifying all required documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations and certificates.
• Monitor shipment status, proactively resolve issues and minimise delays.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including transportation logs and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, service, warehouse and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Optimise logistics plans and routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Evaluate, select and manage logistics service providers, ensuring service quality and cost competitiveness.
• Control logistics costs, verify invoices and reconcile payments.
• Ensure compliance with customs requirements, international trade regulations and company policies.
• Support insurance handling and claims related to transportation damages or losses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics operations, especially import/export and transportation of heavy machinery or industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of international trade processes, customs clearance and logistics documentation.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
