Logistics Officer – Connected Intelligence / Space Digital

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Officer to join the PMO and Delivery Support team for the Connected Intelligence / Space Digital / Secure Connectivity DACH programme at Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn, near Munich. The role ensures efficient flow of goods, services and information, supporting a high‑value service programme for a German customer.

Key responsibilities

• Secure project hardware inventory and tracking.
• Maintain material and equipment data in GLPI, including export‑control information.
• Prepare shipping documentation and handle export‑control and customs clearance.
• Perform acceptance and inspection of all incoming and outgoing goods.

Required profile

• Prior experience in supply chain and logistics.
• Ability to analyse data for inventory optimisation.
• Structured, organised mindset with quick problem‑solving under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal communication and adaptability to unexpected disruptions.
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken); German proficiency is mandatory.
• Eligibility for security clearances.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GLPI (or similar supply‑chain software).
• Data‑analytics capabilities for inventory management.
