M&A Analyst – Investment Banking (Frankfurt)

About the role

NEX Partners is seeking an ambitious M&A Analyst to join its Frankfurt office. You will work directly on live mergers and acquisitions, supporting senior professionals and gaining exposure to both domestic and cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build financial models and conduct valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables and transaction comparables.
• Prepare presentations, marketing materials, teasers and Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs).
• Conduct company, industry and market research to support deal assessment.
• Assist with due‑diligence processes and transaction execution.
• Participate in client meetings, management presentations and investor discussions.
• Support the full transaction lifecycle from origination to closing.

Required profile

• Excellent academic performance from a leading university or business school.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine interest in M&A, corporate finance and entrepreneurship.
• High attention to detail, professionalism and ownership mentality.
• Fluent communication skills in German and English.
