Maintenance Planner

About the role

United Offshore Support GmbH is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join its global offshore support team. Working hybrid from either Leer, Germany or Aberdeen, UK (or other European locations with office visits), you will ensure the efficient planning and scheduling of preventive and statutory maintenance for a fleet of offshore vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 100 % data accuracy and integrity within the company’s CMMS.
• Plan and schedule all preventive and statutory maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Technical Superintendents, chief engineers and the Technical Excellence team to minimise operational disruption.
• Keep vessel maintenance records, job histories and documentation up‑to‑date for inspection and compliance.
• Support compliance with ISM Code, class societies, flag state and internal requirements.
• Ensure traceability of maintenance activities, spare‑part usage and system updates.
• Create jobs and spare‑part entries in the CMMS and perform regular audits.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in maintenance planning and database administration, preferably in offshore or marine environments.
• Hands‑on knowledge of vessel technical systems and relevant regulations (IMO, SOLAS, ISM).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS platforms.
• Advanced MS Excel.
• SQL or other database querying (advantage).
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
