Mandatory Internship in Packaging Purchasing

About the role

During a six‑month mandatory internship you will join Bosch’s indirect purchasing team in Stuttgart, supporting day‑to‑day operations in logistics and packaging procurement. You will work on cross‑functional topics such as supplier base optimisation, CSR checks and price negotiations for packaging materials.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse purchasing data including volumes, material numbers and contract details.
• Support price negotiations and tenders for wood, paper and plastic packaging.
• Contribute to supplier base optimisation and corporate social responsibility assessments.
• Utilise modern purchasing tools such as iSource and e‑auction platforms.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university programme related to Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management or similar.
• Very good command of English and good command of German.
• Independent, self‑responsible working style and flexibility for new challenges.
• On‑site presence in Stuttgart for the full internship period.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with iSource purchasing tool.
• Familiarity with e‑auction platforms.
