Manufacturing Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead semiconductor manufacturing activities across internal teams and external partners. The role combines people leadership with operational ownership in a fast‑growing technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day manufacturing operations with external partners, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Drive performance across quality, delivery, cost and manufacturing efficiency.
• Manage material planning and manufacturing readiness to meet customer and business demand.
• Support product ramp‑up and high‑volume manufacturing activities.
• Oversee assembly and final test operations across manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, quality and commercial teams.
• Lead and develop a team while fostering a strong operational culture.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supplier processes.
• Support manufacturing transfer activities and process improvements as required.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end semiconductor manufacturing process.
• Experience with assembly and final test operations.
• Proven experience managing external manufacturing partners, subcontractors, foundries or OSAT environments.
• Background in high‑volume production and manufacturing ramp‑up activities.
• Previous people‑leadership experience.
• Experience managing suppliers and manufacturing performance metrics.
• Exposure to supply chain and material management processes.
• Relevant experience at companies such as NXP, STMicroelectronics, Nexperia, Infineon, onsemi, or similar.
• Fluent in English and German (C1 minimum).
