Marketing Data Operations Manager (Maternity Cover)

About the role

The Marketing Data Operations Manager (Maternity Cover) will lead a team that delivers data‑operation services primarily to Marketing while supporting other business units. The role combines people leadership, stakeholder management, operational excellence and continuous process improvement in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily Data Operations across systems, ensuring efficient delivery, prioritisation and resource allocation.
• Maintain high standards of customer and account data quality, integrity, governance and GDPR/privacy compliance.
• Manage data access, uploads, segmentation, campaign readiness and resolve escalated CRM or data‑related issues.
• Lead, coach and develop the Data Operations team, fostering a collaborative, customer‑focused culture.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, driving automation and process optimisation.
• Lead targeting and segmentation initiatives, supporting CDP development to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, reporting and measurement frameworks to track operational and campaign performance.
• Partner with commercial and cross‑functional stakeholders to provide actionable insights and support data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Data Operations, CRM, or related data‑management functions.
• Proven track record of leading, coaching and developing a team.
• Deep understanding of data quality, governance, GDPR and data‑privacy principles.
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and stakeholder‑management skills.
