About the role

Airbus Operations is seeking a master‑level student to conduct a thesis on behavior‑based load simulation of aircraft cabin electrical architectures. The work supports the Cabin Core System Architecture department in optimizing network design for the More Electric Aircraft initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a simulation model to assess electrical load behavior in cabin systems.
• Analyze the impact of high‑power cabin equipment on overall aircraft weight.
• Identify opportunities for wiring and distribution weight reduction.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and present findings to the department.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a master program in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in aerospace and electrical system design.
