Master Thesis – Thermal Systems – Worst‑Case Thermo‑Elastic Verification

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space Germany is looking for a motivated master student to join the Thermal Systems team for a six‑month thesis project. The work focuses on worst‑case analysis for thermo‑elastic verification, giving you hands‑on experience as a thermal analyst in an aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing methods and processes related to thermal analysis.
• Conceptualise and develop methodologies and tools for worst‑case thermo‑elastic assessment.
• Integrate data from various sources and develop user‑friendly interfaces.
• Perform testing, evaluation and validation of the developed tools.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time master student in mechanical/aerospace engineering, automation, physics, computer science or a related field.
• Fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus.
• Basic understanding of thermodynamics and programming concepts.
