Mechanical/Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager to join our Data Centre team in Frankfurt. The role is client‑facing and involves delivering large‑scale, ground‑up data centre projects for global technology clients across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of mechanical and/or electrical packages throughout data centre construction.
• Provide technical input at project inception and advise on MEP strategy.
• Establish and manage project success criteria: time, cost, quality, and technical performance.
• Oversee MEP design coordination, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Manage quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance across all project stages.
• Set up robust project governance, processes, and reporting structures.
• Support procurement of MEP contractors and specialist suppliers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance using KPIs and implement improvements.
• Handle change control for MEP scope and design evolution.
• Oversee project financials, including cost tracking and reporting.
• Act as the primary interface between client, contractors, and consultants.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering MEP packages on large‑scale construction projects.
• Fluency in German preferred to manage local stakeholders and contractors.
• Based in Germany or willing to relocate.
