Medical Science Liaison – Rare Lipid Disorders (sHTG)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will act as the scientific bridge between Sobi and the healthcare community for Tryngolza, an innovative therapy for Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG). Based in Germany, the MSL will support the medical strategy by fostering high‑quality scientific exchange and gathering actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Engage key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic researchers in non‑promotional scientific discussions about disease pathways, clinical evidence, and patient management.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans aligned with Medical Excellence guidelines.
• Capture qualitative insights from field interactions and share them with Medical Affairs to shape strategy and evidence‑generation initiatives.
• Support clinical and real‑world evidence projects, ensuring ethical and balanced scientific communication.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to maintain consistent scientific standards.

Required profile

• Field‑based scientific expert with experience in medical affairs or related scientific roles.
• Strong understanding of rare lipid disorders, particularly FCS and sHTG.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering balanced, evidence‑based scientific information.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based, onsite environment across multiple German cities.
