Mining Technician – Construction & Mining Sites in Germany

About the role

We are looking for motivated career changers to join our client’s mining operations in Germany. The position offers hands‑on training in underground mining, with accommodation provided for the first two months and long‑term career prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mining machinery on site.
• Assist with dismantling, securing work areas and supporting assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with teams handling material conveying and transport.
• Assess geological and climatic conditions relevant to underground work.
• Perform physical and technical tasks in underground environments.

Required profile

• Strong craftsmanship and technical understanding.
• Physical resilience for demanding underground work.
• German language proficiency of at least level A2.
• Valid driving licence class B (truck licence is a plus).
• Willingness to engage in assembly and manual work.

Required skills

• Mining machinery operation.
