Mobile Engineer – Android & Multi‑Platform

About the role

Thermondo is building intelligent software to decarbonise homes at scale. As a Mobile Engineer you will create and maintain native Android and iOS applications using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, delivering high‑quality features that power our energy‑efficiency platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain native mobile features for Android and iOS, focusing on UI implementation, state management and data integration.
• Design and optimise mobile architecture for performance, offline/online capabilities and stability.
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams to ensure reliable integration of APIs and services.
• Own feature development from definition through deployment, translating requirements into technical plans.
• Implement and support integration of pre‑defined LLM services and AI‑native features.
• Contribute to improving mobile development workflows, participate in code reviews and share knowledge.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in native mobile development, preferably in a fast‑paced product environment.
• Self‑driven and pragmatic, able to manage tasks independently while collaborating effectively.
• Growth mindset with interest in expanding into full‑stack contributions.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation and team interaction.
