Model Integration Specialist for Eurodrone Virtual Engineering

About the role

Join Airbus Defence and Space’s Eurodrone Virtual Engineering team as a Model Integration Specialist. You will work in the Joint Model Office, integrating real‑time capable simulation models that represent aircraft systems and the external environment into the central VE reference simulation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate assigned simulation models and software artefacts delivered by VE model suppliers into the VE reference simulation.
• Support model verification, validation and final deployment in the Eurodrone Simulation Lab, test benches and training devices.
• Collaborate with an international, multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless model integration across the Eurodrone programme.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the central simulation framework, governance, processes and tools.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Experience working with real‑time simulation models in an aerospace or defence context.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for model verification and validation.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, multidisciplinary team.
