MRO Production Engineer – Germany (Airbus Projects)

About the role

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking MRO Production Engineers to join its on‑site teams across Germany. You will work on strategic Airbus projects, supporting aircraft maintenance, repair and production activities in a safety‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support aircraft maintenance, repair and production activities within an MRO setting.
• Analyse and review system issues detected during manufacturing or maintenance processes.
• Perform troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis on aircraft systems.
• Assist with system integration and validation activities in production and maintenance environments.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and supply‑chain teams.
• Analyse operational data and report technical issues, including error tracking and resolution follow‑up.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in MRO, airworthiness or design support within the aerospace industry.
• C1 level English (mandatory); C1 German is a plus.
• Citizenship of a European country.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with MRO processes and aircraft system troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards applicable to aerospace production.
