Near Patient Nurse (Hybrid) – Vilseck Region

About the role

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to join our Near Patient Nurse team in the Vilseck region. The role combines on‑site hospital visits with remote work, offering a predictable schedule, no night shifts, and the chance to support the TRICARE Overseas Program.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the clinical liaison between German hospitals and international medical teams, ensuring continuity of care.
• Manage inpatient cases, monitor patient progress, and uphold clinical quality and safety standards.
• Prepare accurate medical reports in English and communicate updates to physicians and international stakeholders.
• Facilitate safe discharge planning and coordinate follow‑up care.
• Provide bilingual support to patients, helping them understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and the German healthcare system.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with local providers and contribute to quality assessments.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger) with at least 3 years of bedside experience in an inpatient setting.
• Active registration to practice in Germany.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, independent work style, and confidence with digital documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Required skills

• Proficiency in German and English language communication.
• Experience with clinical case management and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to use digital health record systems.
