Network Security Engineer

About the role

Enzo Tech Group is supporting a leading German manufacturing organisation that is heavily investing in its IT infrastructure and network security landscape. We are looking for an experienced Network & Firewall Engineer to own and evolve enterprise‑scale LAN, WAN and WLAN environments while driving security modernisation across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN networks.
• Lead network security initiatives, including IDS/IPS deployment and firewall management.
• Implement and optimise VPN and SD‑WAN solutions.
• Perform network architecture design, performance optimisation and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate infrastructure projects across several locations.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in complex corporate network environments.
• Strong engineering expertise with a focus on security and modernisation.
• German language proficiency.
• Cisco and/or Check Point certifications are a plus.
