Online English Language Trainer (Freelance)

About the role

Speexx is looking for freelance English Language Trainers to deliver virtual 1:1 and group lessons to adult learners from leading global companies. You will work entirely online, helping professionals improve their workplace communication in English.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live online English training sessions (individual and group) via the Speexx platform.
• Prepare and adapt lesson materials provided by Speexx to meet learner needs.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
• Participate in Speexx’s trainer community and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Native‑level English proficiency (CEFR C2).
• Minimum 120‑hour TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification.
• Current experience teaching English online to adult learners.
• Proficiency in a second language at CEFR B2 level or higher (verified by test).
• Basic knowledge of Italian (A2+ level).
• Availability to work during European business hours.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Required skills

• Minimum 8 GB RAM.
• Windows or macOS operating system (latest version).
• CPU score of at least 1300 (multi‑core).
• Ethernet connection with at least 30 Mbit/s download and 10 Mbit/s upload bandwidth.
• Latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari browsers.
