On‑Site IT Support for Production Floor

About the role

We are looking for an on‑site IT support professional to ensure the smooth operation of production‑related IT systems on the factory floor. You will work directly with machines, production teams and the broader IT department to keep connectivity and data flow reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site IT support on the production floor, ensuring machines and systems are properly connected and synchronized.
• Check and maintain network connectivity between production equipment, IT infrastructure and external systems.
• Support the availability of production‑related IT applications and troubleshoot issues directly in the plant.
• Document technical problems, coordinate with production, maintenance, IT and external support teams, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with basic hardware, software and network tasks in the manufacturing environment.

Required profile

• Experience in IT support, plant or production IT, or a similar technical role.
• Basic understanding of networks, IT infrastructure, hardware and system connectivity.
• Interest in working directly in a production or plant setting with a hands‑on mentality.
• Structured, reliable and solution‑oriented work style with good communication skills.
• German language proficiency required; English is a plus.
