On‑Site Support Engineer – Technical Support

About the role

We are looking for an on‑site support engineer to join a leading international digital services client in Frankfurt. The role involves providing hands‑on technical assistance to end users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and operating systems across multiple client locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update applications, operating systems and PC hardware components.
• Resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLA targets.
• Deliver on‑site end‑user support, including software staging, installation and configuration.
• Manage logistics, inventory and the delivery of equipment and services.

Required profile

• Valid Class B driver’s licence and willingness to travel up to 4 hours daily.
• Professional fluency in German and English (C1 level).
• Prior experience in a customer‑facing support role such as Helpdesk Technician or Desktop Support Specialist.

Required skills

• Familiarity with End‑User Computing (EUC) environments.
• Experience with software and operating system installations and support.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft products and competing solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot, resolve incidents and manage changes within SLA guidelines.
