Operations Coordinator – Event Logistics

About the role

CEVA Logistics is looking for an International Operations Coordinator to join its Event Logistics team in Bremen. The role is central to managing import and export shipments for high‑profile events, ensuring that goods move smoothly by air and ocean freight and that the final delivery steps are flawless.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all import and export shipments via airfreight and ocean freight.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners to guarantee timely and accurate delivery.
• Manage last‑mile delivery and on‑site logistics for events, including on‑site coordination.
• Make real‑time decisions to resolve operational challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
• Work closely with the Operations Director to align strategic and tactical goals.
• Travel to event sites (e.g., Amsterdam, Barcelona, Munich) to supervise logistics and ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in airfreight and ocean freight logistics, with solid knowledge of import, export, and customs processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Fluency in English and German; additional languages such as Spanish or Dutch are a plus.
