Operations Manager – Logistics (m/f/d) in Gera

About the role

Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. As an Operations Manager you will lead a team of Area Managers at the Gera logistics site, develop the operational plan and drive safety, quality and productivity to meet the site’s targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
• Lead operational teams on a shift, resolve issues and improve site performance.
• Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Health & Safety and Security teams.
• Design and deliver initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Proven experience in people and stakeholder management.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English; intermediate proficiency in German.
• Experience using data or evidence to influence business decisions.
• Background in production or supply‑chain environments.
