Operations & Project Lead - Startup - Data Team

About the role

Thermosphr is scaling its Berlin team and needs a connective tissue to keep technical, operational and client‑facing activities aligned. You will coordinate live projects, intervene in complex situations and continuously look for smarter ways to run a fast‑growing climate‑tech operation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate live projects across technical and client teams, ensuring progress and closing open loops.
• Intervene directly on complex issues, regain control of building operations, align technical interlocutors and unblock stalled work.
• Run workshops and facilitate alignment among stakeholders with differing opinions.
• Present clearly to clients without overselling and maintain focus on core objectives.
• Identify inefficiencies, propose and implement better solutions, challenging “this is how we’ve always done it”.
• Contribute to recruiting efforts as the Berlin team expands.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience; mindset matters more than seniority.
• Fluency in French or German.
• Comfortable working with data: able to run basic analyses, dig into numbers and draw conclusions independently.
• Curious about technology, energy systems and building operations.
• Humility to ask questions, confidence to hold ground, and strong people skills to build trust quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel while maintaining clarity.
• Regular use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT as part of daily work.
