Part-Time Finance Manager (20‑25 hrs/week) – Frankfurt

About the role

Join a dynamic boutique investment bank in Frankfurt as a part‑time Finance Manager. You will own key accounting processes, support strategic decision‑making, and act as the main liaison with external finance partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational accounting and day‑to‑day financial accounting using DATEV (accounts payable, receivable, general ledger).
• Oversee expense management, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Prepare insightful financial reports and analyses for business decisions.
• Deliver regular and ad‑hoc management reports, providing clear financial visibility.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements (HGB) in collaboration with external tax advisors.
• Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, financial service providers, and banks.
• Continuously improve and streamline accounting, finance, and tax processes.
• Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance in cooperation with the Legal department.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field or strong practical finance/accounting experience.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Business‑fluent German and good English communication skills.
• Growth mindset with a desire to learn and develop.
• Hands‑on, organized, and analytical with an entrepreneurial approach.

Required skills

• Solid experience with DATEV.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
