Partnerships Director

About the role

We are seeking a Partnerships Director to lead the expansion of a European region for a global cross‑border payments provider. This fully remote position offers the chance to build a market presence from the ground up, working with a small, globally dispersed team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new B2B partnership opportunities with banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions across the DACH region and the Nordics.
• Develop and execute a regional partnership strategy, owning the end‑to‑end process from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Represent the company at industry events worldwide and travel as needed to nurture relationships.
• Collaborate with internal product, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new partners.

Required profile

• Proven sales track record with measurable client wins and target achievement.
• Experience selling solutions to banks, fintechs, or other financial institutions.
• Fluent or native‑level German language proficiency; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong B2B sales and partnership development capabilities.
• Deep understanding of the cross‑border payments landscape (preferred).
