Platform Engineer

About the role

Langdock is building a secure, model‑agnostic AI platform used daily by thousands of companies. As a Platform Engineer you will own core backend services that power the AI engine, workflow runtime, code execution, and integration layers, ensuring they are reliable, observable, and easy for other engineers to extend.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain clear APIs and data models for shared backend systems.
• Implement robust failure handling, retry logic, and tenant isolation across services.
• Develop observability, testing, and monitoring for critical invariants.
• Optimize context‑window handling to balance performance and model cost.
• Build and secure a code execution service for untrusted customer code (JavaScript, Bash).
• Maintain a flexible integration layer supporting REST APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent‑to‑agent communication.

Required profile

• Strong experience building backend services that serve multiple product features.
• Ability to design simple, maintainable abstractions for complex systems.
• Comfort with handling distributed failures and ensuring data consistency.
• Passion for AI/ML platforms and understanding of model provider nuances.
