PR & Communications Manager – GBA Region

About the role

New Balance is seeking a PR & Communications Manager to shape and amplify the brand narrative across Germany, Austria, and the Benelux region. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will collaborate with Brand Activation, Sports Marketing, Retail, Digital, and global teams to drive brand visibility and cultural relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual PR & Communications strategy for Running, Lifestyle, and Football in partnership with the EMEA Central PR team.
• Translate global campaigns, product launches, and business priorities into locally relevant communication plans.
• Lead media outreach, press events, product seeding, and earned‑media initiatives to maximize coverage.
• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers, athletes, creators, and cultural catalysts.
• Coordinate with Sports Marketing and Brand Activation to amplify talent partnerships through earned media.
• Oversee external PR agencies across the region, handling briefings, budgets, and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in PR and communications within sports, lifestyle, or fashion brands.
• Strong understanding of the German, Austrian, and Benelux media landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to craft compelling brand, product, and talent stories.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with editors, journalists, and cultural influencers.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with brand, marketing, retail, and digital teams.
