Private Equity Associate

About the role

We are looking for a high‑performing Investment Professional to join our dynamic private equity team in Munich. You will work on mid‑market companies, shaping their growth through the full investment lifecycle and creating tangible value.

Key responsibilities

• Source, assess, and execute new investment opportunities across diverse sectors.
• Lead commercial and financial due‑diligence workstreams, including valuation and business‑plan analysis.
• Partner with portfolio‑company management to design and implement operational and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and monitor value‑creation plans, track performance, and support add‑on acquisitions.
• Prepare clear, data‑driven materials for internal decision‑making and investment committees.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate finance, M&A, or private equity.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic insight into measurable business results.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid commercial judgment.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.
• Ambitious, pragmatic, and curious with a desire to evolve into a leadership role.
