Private Equity Associate

About the role

Our client, a leading mid‑market private equity fund in Munich, is seeking a motivated Private Equity Associate to join their investment team. You will play a key part in sourcing, evaluating, and managing portfolio companies across German‑speaking markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full private‑equity investment cycle, from deal sourcing and due diligence to execution and portfolio management.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, market research, and assess investment opportunities.
• Prepare investment memoranda, detailed financial models, presentations and other materials for senior stakeholders and investment committees.
• Collaborate closely with management teams, advisors and internal functions throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A, transaction services or a related field.
• Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
