Private Equity Internship – Frankfurt

About the role

Join KKR’s Frankfurt Private Equity team as an intern and gain hands‑on experience across the full investment lifecycle. You will work closely with senior professionals to source, evaluate, and execute private equity transactions while supporting portfolio companies in value‑creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct commercial, operational and market analyses to support investment decisions.
• Perform financial modelling and valuation of target companies.
• Assist in the execution of transactions, including due‑diligence and documentation.
• Prepare thematic and industry research reports.
• Draft decision papers for internal investment committees.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management and operating partners on post‑investment projects.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program.
• Strong academic record and demonstrated extracurricular achievements.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Curiosity about businesses, investing and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work on‑site in Frankfurt for at least three months.
