Private Equity Working Student (15‑20 hrs/week)

About the role

Arbor Capital is seeking a motivated Working Student to support its private‑equity investment process. You will work 15‑20 hours per week across the full deal lifecycle, gaining hands‑on experience in sector research, origination, due diligence, and financial modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sector analyses and bottom‑up underwriting frameworks to identify attractive opportunities in Europe.
• Develop target identification, qualification, and outreach strategies; manage the acquisition funnel.
• Conduct financial, commercial, and technical due diligence on priority targets.
• Build operating and financial models to support underwriting, pricing, and decision‑making.
• Draft investment committee presentations and investor materials for debt and equity financing.
• Contribute to the expansion of Arbor Capital’s AI‑driven workflows across the investment process.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields; exceptional Bachelor candidates considered.
• Previous experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong analytical abilities and solid understanding of financial statements.
• Fluent in German (native or near‑native) and English.
• High academic performance and a track record of excellence.
