Procurement Manager - Siting & Infrastructure

About the role

Proxima Fusion is building the first generation of stellarator power plants and needs a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing for the Alpha demonstrator. Based in Munich, you will be responsible for acquiring the facilities, utilities and construction services that enable the project’s site preparation and build‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Own procurement for construction, infrastructure, utilities and site development activities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for facilities, engineering services and site works.
• Identify and qualify partners and suppliers for site preparation, utilities and construction.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements ensuring safety, schedule and budget compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Siting, Legal and Finance teams to align procurement with project goals.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement for large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, legal and finance stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
