Product Analyst – Remote (Germany)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Analyst to turn complex product and user data into actionable insights that drive growth and improve customer experiences. The role is fully remote and supports a digital product portfolio for a company based in Germany, working closely with product, marketing and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product performance and user behavior to uncover trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Define, monitor and optimise key metrics such as retention, conversion, lifetime value, revenue and churn.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions for cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Conduct deep analyses of customer journeys, feature adoption, promotional initiatives and overall product performance.
• Partner with Product Managers on new releases, enhancements and A/B testing, recommending data‑backed improvements.
• Collaborate with data teams to ensure data quality, consistency and availability.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and business audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role within digital products.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced remote environment.

Required skills

• SQL and experience working with large datasets.
• Business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
• Event‑based analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
• Knowledge of product analytics, experimentation and A/B testing methodologies.
• Python or statistical analysis tools (optional but advantageous).
