Product Design Engineer – Structural Design

About the role

We are looking for a Product Design Engineer who will own the structural design across product development projects. The role focuses on integrating structural integrity from concept through qualification, ensuring designs are robust and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural design execution from concept to qualification, meeting project milestones.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, design weaknesses, and process gaps early in the development cycle.
• Improve design methods, processes, or standards with at least one concrete enhancement per project.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including analysis, manufacturing, and testing to resolve issues and drive decisions.
• Document findings, raise technical concerns clearly, and ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in mechanical, aerospace, materials or a related structural discipline (BSc minimum; MSc or PhD preferred).
• Minimum two years of professional experience in structural design or analysis.
• Strong understanding of composite and metallic material behavior.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and own outcomes.
