Product Designer – Eyewear Design

About the role

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our design team in Passau and help shape the future of CAZAL eyewear. You will be responsible for creating expressive optical frames and sunglasses from the first sketch to the final prototype.

Key responsibilities

• Develop eyewear concepts and sketches based on seasonal design briefs.
• Define material and colour directions for each collection.
• Design 3D models using Rhino or comparable tools.
• Support prototype development, testing and refinement.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Direction, Product Management, Technical Development and Production teams.
• Contribute to collection timelines and sample handling for the Product Manager.

Required profile

• Design background in product, industrial, fashion or a related field.
• Strong sense of form, proportion and aesthetics.
• Conceptual thinker with attention to detail.
• Good working level of English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Passau and relocate if needed.
• Experience in eyewear or luxury/premium design is beneficial but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Rhino or similar 3D modelling tools.
